ALL THAT DRAMA the musical the musical is a current day story that reveals how 16-year-old Whitney Charles and her middle class African-American family lean on their deep rooted values to get them through their everyday challenges. It’s a story about real world drama: bullying, lying, drugs, mental illness, and even death. The impact Whitney and her family have on their neighborhood, her classmates and new neighbor, 16-year-old Amanda McCarthy, provides inspiration to everyone. A two act musical full of joy, tears, dance, surprises and pure fun, exposes the audience not only to conflict and drama, but also to the power of community, self-discovery and hope.
