South Pointe High stages new musical on teen issues

ROCK HILL — When the lights come up on the South Pointe High School stage on Thursday night for “All That Drama,” it won’t just be the first time anyone in Rock Hill has seen the musical, it will be the first time anyone anywhere has seen it, and all involved are excited to see it finally come to life.

“We went to South Pointe High School (in Rock Hill, S.C.) and talked to them about the musical,” McKagan said. “They liked where it was going. James Chrismon opened the drama department and sent several kids to audition. The kids were perfect and into the studio we went.”
